Renault Mégane automatic models are strongly associated with EDC dual-clutch transmission, including six-speed EDC on many Mégane IV petrol, diesel, GT and R.S. applications. Later powertrains and the current Mégane E-Tech Electric change the drivetrain again, so generation matters before diagnosis.
